Spring is certainly on the way, and I am really looking forward to having lighter evenings for some dog walks.  The trustees have been busy preparing for the AGM.  I hope you can come along. Remember we are always keen to have new trustees and volunteers join us, so if you would like to have an informal chat about joining as a trustee or even offering a helping hand at one of our activity days, please contact us at: nlca@communitycouncil.netherlochaber.org.uk . 

1. Activity Days

The next activity day will be on Sunday 3^rd March 2024 at 10 am.  We’ll meet at the picnic site and do some tidying up.  Please note that if you are travelling by car, please be careful when you park as there are some large holes in the car park close to the picnic site.

2. 500 Club

Do you want the chance to win some cash* each month?  Then please join our 500 club!  Not only do you have a chance of winning a prize, but you will be contributing to the regular income of the Association, which contributes to making Nether Lochaber a better place to live, work and visit. * The prize fund varies with number of members. At present the prizes are 1^st: £25, 2^nd: £15 and 3^rd: £10.

3. AGM Reminder

Just a reminder that our AGM will take place on Thursday 29^th February 2024 at 7:30 pm in the Nether Lochaber Church Hall in Onich.  All members of the community are welcome to attend, so please spread the word.

4. Fundraising for Inchree Barn

Do you fancy an ADVENTURE for a good cause?!

We are teaming up with our neighbours Vertical Descents to offer you the opportunity of getting immersed in the waters of Inchree for an amazing canyoning experience!! Do not worry if you have not done anything like it before as we will have the VD team onsite to support you to enjoy the day and have the best time!! To join our sponsored canyon event, you have to:

> be 8 years and over

> be fit and able to swim

> be free on Sunday the 26th of May

> fundraise at least £100 for the project
