- Local Place Plan – CB replied to the enquiry, he followed up the person’s enquiry with a phone call. The person may pursue other avenues with other community groups.
- Police Report
Nothing major to report in NL. There have been a lot of mountain rescue operations. There was major vandalism at Glencoe Police station, the perpetrator was apprehended at the scene and has been charged.
- MaCCOLL (Marine and Coastal Conservation of Loch Linnhe)
Application for Extension of Argyll Hope Spot – The Committee had expected representatives of the above Group to be present at the meeting and following discussion it was agreed that more information was required in order to make an informed decision. It was therefore agreed to defer this item to a future meeting to allow the Committee to hear from members of the Group.
- Corran Ferry Project – Infrastructure Improvement Scheme
MML has sent an email to Andy Bate to arrange an informal chat. There are to be liaison meetings alternatively between Ardgour and Nether Lochaber and MML will update when dates and times are set.
- Defibrillators
EML advised that 1 defibrillator and 2 cabinets had arrived and she is liaising with the British Heart Foundation representative to ascertain what happened to the second defibrillator. MMD has spoken to Mary Evans (Head Teacher at St Brides) and Ben at Roam West about the installation of the defibrillators. It was agreed that EML will now contact Ben at Roam West to hand over the defibrillator as they have an Electrician ready to install it.
- Spring Newsletter
We have a list of things to add to the newsletter and MML will make a start. Also add about the QR code. The CC AGM is on Tuesday 12th May. MML will get a paragraph from the new Head Teacher for St Brides (and Glencoe). The Church services in the NL Church are the 1st and 3rd of every month.

- (iv) FLS – there was an open afternoon to discuss the future routes within the area. MMD and KC both attended. MMD reported back that it was very informative and that Innis Na Birlinn could benefit by the addition of parking from a new route and MMD has passed on details to a contact from the Cemetery.
- (v) There are links to find out more about restocking in the area by searching Glenrigh Land Management Plan, Forestry Land Scotland. MMD brought up lack of signage on walking routes and responsibilities of the road, particularly the bridge and beyond including the car park.
- (vi) The Committee had received a message from a local resident who expressed concerns about the accessibility of the current defibrillator in the Village. The resident had experienced difficulty when trying to retrieve the defibrillator in an emergency. The Committee had looked into retrieving the defibrillator in the dark and noted there was good lighting in the surrounding area. The Committee are satisfied that the location is accessible by all and agreed to reiterate to the community the location of the defibrillator. The Committee then extended their thanks to Lawson Taylor for his commitment to housing and maintaining the defibrillator.
