AGM – VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE

Nether Lochaber Village Hall Committee post this information;

They would like to advise that their AGM will be held on

Monday 16th January 2023, in the hall, at 730pm

The committee has been depleted over the last few years so they desperately need more members to join so please come along and support them and share this post.

2019 SHOW RESULTS

Even the sun cam out for the flower and produce shwo in Nether Lochaber Village hall.  Another great turnout of bakery and flowers and veg.
Winners of the trophies were for Section 1 – Home Baking – Elaine Cameron won the Onich Hotel Cup with Jill Morrow runner up with the Lodge on the Loch Cup, Section 2 for Procude was won by Jill Morrow and Section 3 Knitting was won by Jennifer Jal who took the Corran Bar Trophy.  Section 4 for Handcrafts saw Eileen Irons taking the Camus na Gaul CupThe floral section was won by Harrison Wyatt who received the Gleaner Oil Cup and Jill Morrow again scooped the Old Manse Trophy.  For Vegetables Jill Morrow again topped the points and took away the Old School Cup.
Tea was served in the afternoon with lovley home baking on offer.
After totalling all entry points the most points in Show, and winner of Nether Lochaber Community Council Rose Bowl , was Jill Morrow with Alex Cameron in second place and receiving the Callart Quaich.  Alex also received the George Ross Memorial Cup for Best Rhubarb in show.

RULES & REGULATIONS
1.   Hall open Saturday 3rd Sept – 6pm-8pm for handicraft entries
2.   Exhibits  to be at the hall between 9.00 to 10.00 am
3.   All exhibitors must pay admission fee at door
4.   Entries confined to the area between Corran and Callart
5.   The judges will place prize-winners in each class1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
6.   The decision of the judge is final
7.   A competition label must be attached to each exhibit showing the section and class number.  All labels will be opened after the judging.
8.   Entries limited to ONE PER CLASS in each section.
9.   NO fee for exhibit entries and classes open to ALL ages
10.   NO Handicraft/Knitting item which have previously been exhibited in this show, can be entered
11.   NO knitted/crochet  articles to be laundered before exhibition
12.   NO exhibits to be removed before prize giving
13.   Painted picture can use watercolor/acrylic or oil
14.   Sections I to VII open to all ages
